Ruby FoodHub Inc. ("Ruby FoodHub," "we," "us") respects your privacy. This page explains what information we collect when you shop with us, why we collect it, and how you can control it.

Information We Collect

When you place an order or contact us, we collect:

• Your name, email address, and phone number
• Your delivery address and ZIP code
• Order details — items purchased, quantities, and order totals
• Payment information — this is entered directly into Stripe's secure checkout page and processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.

Newsletter Signups

If you sign up for product updates, your email address is stored in our mailing list (hosted by Resend) and used only to send you product updates and promotions from Ruby FoodHub. We don't sell or share this list. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send you.

How We Use Order Data

We use your order information to fulfill and deliver your order, respond to customer service requests, and keep internal order records in our database. We don't use your order data for advertising.

Third-Party Services We Use

We rely on a small number of trusted providers to run this site:

• Stripe — processes all payments. Stripe has its own privacy policy governing how it handles your payment details.
• Resend — sends order confirmations and, if you sign up, our newsletter.
• Analytics — we do not currently use any analytics or advertising tracking tools on this site. If that changes in the future, we'll update this policy.

Wholesale & Retailer Accounts

If you apply for a wholesale account through our Retailer Portal, we additionally collect and store:

• Your business name, contact name, business email, phone number, and business address
• A password, which is stored only as a secure one-way hash — we can never read it
• Your wholesale order history, payment status, and reported payment details (such as a Zelle reference number you choose to enter)
• Inventory quantities you or our team record for your location
• A company logo, if you choose to upload one

This information is used solely to operate your wholesale account — processing orders, arranging deliveries, tracking payments and stock, and contacting you about your account. It is visible to Ruby FoodHub staff through our internal admin dashboard, and is never sold or shared for advertising.

Our Mobile Apps

Our Ruby FoodHub Wholesale and Ruby FoodHub Admin apps for iOS and Android are secure wrappers around the same portals described above, and handle your information in exactly the same way. The apps do not collect device identifiers, location data, contacts, photos, or usage analytics, and they contain no advertising or third-party tracking software. They store a login session token on your device so you stay signed in; signing out or deleting your account removes it. Card payments made in the app open Stripe's secure checkout in your device's browser — payment details are never handled by the app itself.

Cookies & Local Storage

This site does not use tracking or advertising cookies. It uses your browser's local storage to remember what's in your shopping cart between pages, to keep wholesale retailers signed in to the Retailer Portal, and — for our internal team only — temporary session storage to stay logged into our order management page. None of this is used to track you across other websites.

Data Retention & Deletion

We keep order records for as long as needed for customer service, accounting, and legal/tax purposes. If you'd like us to delete personal information we hold about you, email us and we'll fulfill your request except where we're required to keep certain records (for example, transaction records needed for tax compliance).

Deleting a wholesale account: retailers can delete their own account at any time — in the Retailer Portal or the Wholesale app, go to Profile → Delete My Account. This immediately and permanently erases your business name, contact name, email, phone number, address, and uploaded logo, scrambles your stored password, and signs you out of every device; the account can never be signed into again. Past order and payment records are retained as legally required financial records, no longer linked to your personal details. Deleting your account does not cancel any unpaid balance you owe.
