Delete Your Account
This page explains how to permanently delete your account and associated data for the Ruby FoodHub Wholesale app and Retailer Portal, and for the Ruby FoodHub Admin app — both published by Ruby FoodHub Inc.
Ruby FoodHub Wholesale (retailer accounts)
Delete your account yourself, in the app or on the website — it takes under a minute:
- Sign in to the Ruby FoodHub Wholesale app, or to the Retailer Portal at rubyfoodhub.com/retailer
- Open Profile
- Scroll to Privacy & Account and tap Delete My Account
- Confirm, then type DELETE when asked
Deletion takes effect immediately. You are signed out of every device, and the account can never be signed into again.
Can't sign in, or prefer email? Send a deletion request from the email address on the account to contactus@rubyfoodhub.com with the subject "Account deletion request". We process email requests within 7 days and confirm by reply.
What is deleted, and what is kept
Deleted immediately and permanently:
- Business name and contact name
- Email address and phone number
- Business address
- Uploaded company logo
- Your password (the stored hash is destroyed) and all login sessions
Kept, in anonymized form: past order and payment records. These are financial records we are legally required to retain for accounting and tax purposes. After deletion they are no longer linked to any of your personal details — they appear in our systems only as belonging to a "Deleted Account".
Retention period: anonymized order and payment records are retained for as long as U.S. federal and Texas tax and accounting law requires (typically up to 7 years), then disposed of. No other data about you is retained after deletion.
Deleting your account does not cancel any unpaid balance owed to Ruby FoodHub Inc. at the time of deletion.
Ruby FoodHub Admin (staff accounts)
Admin accounts belong to Ruby FoodHub Inc. staff and are managed internally. To have a staff account and its personal data (name and email) removed, email contactus@rubyfoodhub.com — requests are processed within 7 days. Audit-log entries recording business actions are retained as required for business records.
